is an Edinburgh based property management company run by Merchistonian,
Jamie Kerr (88-93).
Jamie was a successful 1XI cricketer at the School playing as wicket keeper batsman and had a successful career at Carlton CC gaining one cap for his country along the way. Ben Property is kindly sponsoring the School's
1XI for 2018.
, Director of Sport and Head of Cricket says:
"We are very grateful to have Jamie's support this year for the 1XI and School Cricket programme. As a major sport at the School in the Summer Term we are continuing to look for ways to further enhance participation and competition. Jamie will have benefited

Old Sedberghians Report
Match Manager, George Walker (69-74)
provides an update:
"The team consisting of Niall Ballantyne (82-87), Richard Duncan (94-00), Colin Barbour (78-83), Stephen Biggart (96-03), Sandy Corstorphine (59-64), Will Biggart (94-01)
Alastair Milligan (58-63)
and I took on the OS team at Muirfield on Sunday 19 April.
In wonderful weather and with a course in great condition for early spring the team managed to wreak revenge.
The morning matches ended 2-2 with wins for Niall/Richard and Colin/George which were offset by narrow losses from Stephen/Sandy and Will/Alastair (the Captain).
After an excellent lunch, the afternoon matches were comfortably won by MGS, 3-1. The Biggart brothers got us off to a flying start, soon followed by Alastair and Richard, who was making his MGS debut. Sandy/Colin succumbed, but Niall/George secured the final
Mike Smart (60-65)
on his flying visit to Cape Town where he managed to catch up with old school chum
Robin Hall (60-64):
"I am just back from two weeks in Cape Town; I lived in South Africa for five years in the Seventies and have visited regularly over the years so it is very much a home from home. I took the opportunity of contacting the Merchistonian South Africa Representative
Robin who had been at Merchiston at the same time as me.
We exchanged emails before I arrived and arranged to meet up. Robin was good enough to take me out for an excellent dinner. Our wide ranging discussions over dinner covered a variety of hilarious situations and characters that we remembered from our time at
school tinged with momentary sadness at the early passing of several of our contemporaries."

Launching a New Venture
Brilliant to see Daryll Morrow (08-10)
presenting at Robert Gordon University this week. Daryll was giving an update on his innovative platform which links students with employers. Udrafter
and brother Luke's (07-09)
start-up platform business spun out of RGU. It is an on demand, real time recruitment platform where businesses can post one-off jobs to be completed by skilled students within hours, even minutes.
"The whole process has been extremely tough since leaving university, but to see where we have come in such a short space of time gives me a huge amount of motivation to make the dream become a reality. I didn't think I would ever find a job that was meant
for me, or that I would enjoy for the rest of my life - but I can say with confidence that it doesn't feel like a job when you love what you do."
