'Let the games begin'

Dear Merchistonians and Friends

#MerchiFamily Catch-up

James Boyd (former Housemaster) has just caught up with Magnus Bradbury (11-13) and Fraser Brown (01-07) in Coogee, where he was able to wish Fraser all the very best ahead of the Australia v Scotland match tomorrow. He enjoyed hearing about Magnus' journey post Merchiston and looks forward to a Scottish victory tomorrow.

It's all about you, really

It was lovely to meet Drummond McCulloch (07-14), thanks for popping in!  On the topic of 'you', we get great feedback about the weekly newsletter but we couldn't make it without you.  If you have news, a story or an achievement then please let us know so that we can share this with your fellow Merchistonians, you're a Merchi Family after all!

Mike Billinghurst (85-90) met up with Graeme Wearmouth(86-90), Dougie Macrae (84-90), Fergus Thain (87-90), Willie Anderson (85-90), Alistair Oliver (85-90) and Mark Coulther (88-90) last Saturday night for a good catch-up, and they look forward to their next get-together.

Congratulations on your new position

Planning a visit?

Many of you will be holidaying soon and we wanted to remind you that we offer tours of the School.  Whether you're passing through or you would like to show your family the grounds, myself and my colleague Louise would be delighted to be your guides.  Drop us a line to book your tour with us.

The morning after the night before

As you know, the Merchistonian Annual Dinner is on Friday 24 November and to make the event complete we thought you would like to walk down memory lane.  On the Saturday, we are offering you breakfast and a tour of the School from 10.30am.  You can note your interest when you buy your ticket to the dinner.
