Dear Merchistonians and Friends
The sun has been shining in Edinburgh all week and it felt like summer was almost here. Today, however, I am reminded that we are in Scotland, the rain clouds have returned just in time for the weekend.
As promised, an update on the reunion dinner of Class of '81
which took place last Friday. A great turn out, with 35 attending their 35 year reunion -
anyone might think we planned it that way. It was lovely to see Merchistonians
travel from as far as South Africa and the USA to make the night. The biggest challenge of the night was trying to group the class together for the obligatory photograph... Can you spot the photobomb? As I left the venue it looked like they were some way
off the 'nursing home' yet.
The next reunion will be for the Class of '86
who plan to be at the
MRFC v Watsonians
match and dinner on Friday 2 September. This will be followed by a lunch at The New Club
on Saturday 3 September. Contact
Ken Fisher (80-86)

From sports success to business success, David Millard (91-98)
