With Half Term comes stillness to the School which yesterday was punctuated, by an avalanche of boys and girls from Bonaly Primary School who were here for their Sports Day, something that the School does every year for its neighbours.
Tomorrow is the day that we find out who will be taking home the winning trophy. Can the

On this day in 1899 English cricket captain W.G.Grace became the first man to play Test cricket beyond the age of 50. Another record was broken on Tuesday when the current English cricket captain Alastair Cook became the youngest batsman in Test cricket to
reach 10,000 runs. Showing that age is just a number, the Merchistonians
took on and beat
in their annual match
on 20 May in a thrilling game. We won the match by 7 runs. There was a good representation from across the years and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, a great excuse for players, young
and old, to come together. The match was followed by a meal in the beautiful WWI Centenary Pavilion.
