Wow what a week that was!

Events not to be missed

The Merchistonian Annual Dinner is tonight!  I look forward to seeing you all there with your smart shoes and Merchistonian bow ties. For those of you unable to attend, I will be taking plenty of pictures, so expect a link to them next week!

A reminder for those in Edinburgh on Friday 25 November.  Graeme Crossley (95-99) will be hosting a Business Breakfast at Indigo Yard.  Come along to get some tips for your business.  Click here to find out more.

Stuart Riddell (76-81) is organising a Christmas Ceilidh on Saturday 17 December to raise funds for Maggie's Centres in Edinburgh. (For those in Scotland - did you see their fascinating TV programme last Sunday?). Find out more here

Careers Corner

A big thanks to Oli Green (99-07) and Graham Millar from Gilson Gray, who visited the School on Wednesday to give a presentation to the Upper Sixth on Social Media and Employment Law.

Nicholas Allen (82-84) visited Merchiston this week as part of his teaching development. This was Nick's first visit back to the School since 1984 - read his thoughts on a modern Merchiston here.
