Barrelling through Autumn

Dear Merchistonians and Friends

Only four weeks to go… Where does the time go? Our Annual Dinner is an established event that brings old and new friends together, celebrating your Merchistonian history. Perhaps your peers have already put together a group? Have a look and book your spot here.

If you're thinking of putting in an order for 6 Nations Away tickets, the deadline is Sunday 26 October. Use your login details to get into our website and book before it's too late! Allocation details are coming soon.

To golf: The London Scottish Schools' Golf Society is hosting a St. Andrew's Day Greensomes on Thursday 27 November. Should you be interested, there are more details for you here. Don't delay, as space is tight!

Merchiston will be at the world's biggest open day, The Independent Schools Show, at Battersea Park on Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 November. Should you or other prospective parents be interested in sending your son to the School and you live in London, do head along and find out more over the weekend.

Lastly, on this day in 1901, Annie Edson Taylor became the first person to survive a trip over Niagara Falls on her 63rd birthday… in a barrel. Opportunities to change your life come in so many different forms and at any age. How could you change yours?

Enjoy the autumn sunshine!

Kind regards
