'6 Nations Tickets & Your Weekly News'

Dear Merchistonians and Friends

Our next Business Breakfast will be with Graham Millar from Gilson Gray covering the important topic of data protection. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about the GDPR and the ePrivacy Regulations - know your rights and what it means for every business. Book your spot now.

Congratulations on your new position

Bryce Stewart (80-87) Partner at Montagu Evans.
Peter Sellar (85-90) Founder at Scotland's EU Consultancy.
Max Roger (03-10) Strength & Conditioning Coach at Scottish Exiles RFC Ltd.
Marinus Maris (05-10) Middle East & Africa Manager at Ergonomic Solutions.

Charles Costello (01-09) moved to Melbourne this year to use his fluent Korean to set up a distribution company on behalf of Unience (producing an Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) used on the facade of residential and commercial buildings). Charles is the Regional Sales Manager and is helping to grow Unience's market share in Australia and New Zealand. Travelling to the USA three times a year, here is a photograph of Charles at an exhibition in Orlando last month.

Academicals v Merchistonians

The match last Saturday saw us neck and neck until Accies came out the winners with an end score of 34-24. Well done to all!  Report to follow, take a look at the photographs here.

Our next internationalist?

Tiziano Pasquali (10-11) left Merchiston to go to Leicester Tigers and then went on to Benetton Treviso. He has been selected to go on the Summer Tour with Italy, if he plays against Scotland in Singapore tomorrow; he will become our 66th internationalist. Good luck Tiziano! See the line up here.

Bay of Rugby

Congratulations to Aaron Tait (14-16) who has been named in this year's Bay of Plenty U19 team in New Zealand.
