2019 Curling Report

 
Our results were mixed this season with wins against Old Glenalmond and Aberdeen Grammar School FP but we lost to Glasgow Accies and Kelvinside Accies. Strathallians have dropped out of the League. We have a pool of nine curlers and could do with more. Braehead Curling Rink is closing at the end of this month and the matches will be played next season at Greenacres Curling Club near Uplawmoor, Renfrewshire. If curling re-starts at the School, let me know and we could arrange a match between the School and Merchistonians as has happened in the past. 

Congratulations to Hammy McMillan (04-10) and Grant Hardie (05-10) as members of the Scottish Champions team, and we wish the team success representing Scotland at the World Championship due to be held next month.
